I use 20 min for the sprouts, but then they are tender, some people like a bit of a bite so check after 10/15 min.. dish up with bacon and the lot. The restaurant we were in also served pancakes, but I would not have been able to eat a whole pancake. I had weight loss surgery the December before, (in 2001), so his family suggested this. I thought it would just be 1 of these with ham and cheese and egg, but the server brought out this HUGE plate that had 1 of these with ham/cheese/egg, 1 with roast beef/cheese/egg, 1 with turkey/cheese/egg, and 1 with just cheese/egg, all in an open-faced sandwich style. I couldn't eat all of that, and I just are the one with ham. My husband, father-in-law, and brother-in-law ate the other 3. We came back home to the US about 2 weeks later, and I started making this dish myself. LOL! I call it a ham and egg thingie and we have enjoyed it now for about 21 years or so. I have attempted babi pangang, borenkohl, hutspot, a butter cake, and a few other Dutch recipes. Most of them have been really good, but I do not care for endive anything!Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13111516258413402624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7144846758981844946.post-37704892395897697302022-05-18T16:24:09.588-06:002022-05-18T16:24:09.588-06:00This reminds me of the potato pancake I use to mak...This reminds me of the potato pancake I use to make.
